Meet Our Tutors
I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. The family and I moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia when I was about 12 years old. I went to Bayside High School, where I earned an advanced studies diploma and a football scholarship. My football scholarship came from Norfolk State University. At Norfolk State University, I majored in Applied Mathematics. At Norfolk State University, I was selected from a group of thousands of people to participate for the National Mathematics Alliance Society. In addition, I was chosen to be a part of a research team for the National Science Foundation(NSF). The research team was called the Center for Undergraduate Research in Mathematics(CURM). I would conduct research on diseases using biomedical mathematics. Once I graduated
from Norfolk State University, I enrolled in Old Dominion University graduate program for mathematics. In addition, this past year I taught mathematics at Churchland High School from algebra to calculus. This past year, I received an 98% pass rate on the Virginia SOL for Algebra 1. Therefore, I would love to be your tutor.
